A load of balls!

Today we had a return trip to the wool mill to collect our latest batch of pure woollen yarns. In total there were 1446 50g balls - that's over 72kg of knitting yarn.

These new yarns are all pure Shetland wool produced from our own flock here in Devon. The colours are created by blending the natural coloured fleeces, creating beautifully soft yarns.

These yarns will soon be added to our online store and will be available in DK, chunky and 4-ply. But first we have the exciting job (yawn) of creating and putting on all the ball-bands.
